Elegant and refined small wall console shelf (applique/support), a exquisite example of artistic craftsmanship from the mid-twentieth century, inspired by the splendor of Baroque style and Florentine taste. The supporting structure features a rich carved border with geometric and vegetal motifs that converge toward a central scroll-support. The carved portion presents a splendid antique-gold finish with original patina, which adds depth and warmth to the relief. The upper surface, with the classic half-moon (semi-circular) shape, is finely lacquered in a delicate sage green/light tone, creating an extremely chic, era-appropriate chromatic contrast with the gilding of the structure.
