This lens was purchased new by me from a reputable physical camera shop in Genoa, Italy, and has seen very little use. It was used exclusively for video work with a first generation Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and has never been used in autofocus mode.
The lens is in very good overall condition, with only minor signs of use on the exterior. The optics appear clean and well preserved, and the zoom and focus rings operate smoothly.
It is a particularly versatile professional zoom, offering a constant f/2.8 aperture throughout its 12–40mm range, equivalent to 24–80mm on a full-frame camera. It is suitable for both photography and video applications.
