Description from the seller
Laguiole Bougna pocket knife or folding knife made of olive wood with a corkscrew in a beautiful box with a sharpening steel, belt sheath and oil to keep the knife well cared for
A spine with beveled decorations on the back of the handle together with the famous Laguiole bee. Also the shepherds’ cross is on the handle. This, against which the shepherds on their long treks across the countryside could pray for their meal, with the knife stuck in bread. The French shepherds often enjoyed wine as well, and consequently versions with a corkscrew were made, of which this is one.
Equipped with an olive wood handle with stainless steel bolsters. This knife has an elegant, robust and original design. The sharp, finely etched stainless steel blade is highly resistant to corrosion.
A special feature of olive wood is that the tree may only be used once it no longer bears olives. This is usually after 100 years. This means that this beautiful knife is made from wood that is more than 100 years old. The pocket knife has a stylish and sleek design. Thanks to its slim profile, the knife sits well in the hand.
Ideal if you want to personalize your gift, as it is already packaged in a beautiful box with a belt sheath, a small sharpening steel and oil to maintain the knife.
This pocket knife becomes a daily must-have, whether in the kitchen or during your outings in the outdoors.
Please note that there are no papers or a certificate included with this knife. The set is unused, and thus simply as-new
Laguiole
The well-known knife from France originally is a beautiful functional pocket knife. Laguiole is not a brand name, but a reference to a small French village. Designed with the starting point of a Spanish pocket knife called a navaja and a local French dagger called capuchadou.
