This watch is a reissue based on the world's first Mickey Mouse watch (the original model), which debuted in 1933.
It was released by Ingersoll as part of their "30's Collection" in collaboration with Disney, faithfully recreating the vintage feel of the original.
Mickey Mouse's arms serve as the hour and minute hands, rotating to indicate the time.
Small Seconds: A small disc featuring Minnie Mouse spins within the round sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position. This is a signature feature of the original model that is highly popular among collectors.
Instead of a battery, it uses a manual-wind mechanical movement—a detail that reflects the dedication put into this reissue.
The luxurious gold-colored, elongated tonneau-shaped case and the rounded domed crystal evoke the classic atmosphere of the 1930s.
