Art déco table lamp in iron and glass from France, dating to the 1930s, with a marmoreal glass lampshade in warm amber and orange tones, signed Primerose, a slim tripod metal base, in good used condition with minor aging marks and in working order with the current electrical system.
Description from the seller
Elegant French Art Deco table lamp from the period, dating presumably to the 1925-1935 years.
It features a marbled glass lampshade in warm amber-yellow and orange tones. The irregular nuances of the glass take on full depth when the lamp is lit and diffuse a particularly soft light.
The glass bears the engraved signature “Primerose,” visible on the edge and shown in the photograph.
The bowl rests on a slim tripod metal frame with clean, geometric lines, characteristic of the Art Deco period. The balance between the colored glass and the lightness of the pedestal gives this lamp a great deal of elegance.
Dimensions:
Total height: 40… cm
Diameter of the lampshade: 16 … cm
Diameter of the base: 16 … cm
Condition:
Good overall condition considering its age. Presence of light signs of use and small superficial scratches visible on the glass. No chips or cracks observed, subject to careful verification before listing for sale.
The lamp is sold with its current electrical system. Its operation will be specified after testing. For safety, it is always recommended to have the old electrical installation checked by a professional before regular use.
Photographs are an integral part of the description.
Exceptionally careful packaging, with separate protection for the glass and the mount. Tracked and insured shipping.
