Ricoh 500 G Analogue camera

Ricoh 500G compact rangefinder camera, produced in Japan in the 1970s. This camera is equipped with a Rikenon 40mm f/2.8 lens and is known as a compact and user-friendly rangefinder camera.

The 500G features a fixed 40mm lens, automatic exposure control and a built-in light meter. Thanks to its compact size it is an interesting camera for street photography and daily use.

The camera is in used vintage condition, appropriate to its age. The lens is clear and the camera shows normal signs of use. The operation is good, the shutter speeds seem to be in order and the light meter also responds; due to the age there can be no guarantees of accuracy. The zoom works well and the aperture also works well. The inside could use a new foam edge. The rangefinder is clear and the lens is scratch-free and has no fungus. The old battery had leaked but that has been cleaned and therefore the light meter responds again.
