encrier - Inkwell - Crystal, Bronze (gilt/silvered/patinated/cold painted)

Inkstand/writing desk in gilded bronze and cut in green/yellow crystal. The central triangular base bears a bouquet of three flowers at each end; three caryatids with bare feet support the inkstand in yellow/green crystal. Ogive gilding, fine chasing, no visible signs of wear. Perhaps Empire period.
