The Hasselblad X1D 50C is a digital mirrorless camera equipped with a medium-format CMOS sensor measuring 43.8 x 32.9 mm with a resolution of 50 megapixels. The device handles a color depth of 16 bits and declares a nominal dynamic range of 14 stops using the proprietary Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution color management system. The body is made of machined aluminum and houses a mount for XCD lenses with an integrated central shutter that enables flash synchronization at all shutter speeds up to 1/2000 second. Focusing is achieved via a contrast-detection system with 117 points selectable through the 3-inch rear touchscreen display or the 2.36-million-point XGA electronic viewfinder. In terms of connectivity, the camera body features a dual SD card slot (UHS-I), a USB 3.0 Type-C port for tethering and data transfer, as well as integrated Wi‑Fi and GPS modules. Power is supplied by a 3200 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery that can be recharged directly via the USB port.
