Beautiful early original cast-iron scale with an enamel plate on which the weight measurements are indicated.
The scale is a beautiful decorative item, thanks to the Art Deco base and the bowl that has a lovely natural patina. It is also still functional, weighing up to 10 kg.
With a small handle, the scale can be secured. The bowl has a foot; you place it in the raised rim so it cannot fall off the scale. The patina of this bowl has become beautiful over the years. The pointer is not perfectly straight anymore, but that has no consequence.
All in all a beautiful decorative item.
Dimensions, total height, 31.5 cm. Diameter of the bowl, 23.5 cm.
