Rosenthal - Georg Jensen - Drinking set (5) - Berlin/Linear Smoke - Crystal

These vintage chalices belong to the famous German manufacturer Rosenthal GmbH. This is the historic model “Berlin” (also known as “Linear Smoke”), designed in the early 1960s by designer George Butler Jensen for Rosenthal’s renowned Studio-Linie collection. The set is distinguished by a very strict Mid-Century Modern design, featuring a cylindrical cup of clear crystal and a distinctive flat square foot in smoked glass (tobacco/greenish-grey color). Depending on height and capacity, this specific elongated variant was mainly used as a beer glass or a juice/drink glass. The height is about 15 cm with a square base of about 5x5 cm. Good condition with only minimal signs of wear and use. The monogram is engraved on the bottom of the glasses. See photo for condition and measurements. I do not ship outside the European Community.
