Exceptional traditional ethnic ring “Tumark” (Carrier of talismans or religious scrolls) from the Uzbek region (Central Asia). A large ethnographic piece with superb guild-style metalwork, handmade in solid silver without hallmarks.
Secret compartment: Functional oval box with a side hinge and push‑button closure, historically used to protect sacred writings.
High-quality metalwork: Superior decoration on the top and sides executed with the intricate traditional openwork filigree technique (shabaka) and centered cord borders.
Lapis lazuli Excellent: It features a dense mosaic consisting of exactly 15 cabochons of superior quality lapis lazuli.
The gems display an intense ultramarine blue, uniform and with subtle flashes of natural pyrite, with no losses or restorations.
