AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Murano: Two double-armed wall appliques, each

Made by a Murano master glassmaker in the 1980s with transparent glass and rich inclusions of cut gold leaf. They have an extraordinary golden luminosity due to the abundance of gold included in the glass, following the traditional Murano technique.

Very rich in details. They were in the workshop of a Murano furnace that closed in the early 2000s, but made much earlier.

Each wall light consists of two arms with downward-facing gilded cups; three low curved leaves and, in the center, a flower and two tall leaves.

All pieces are handmade and none is identical to another.

Complete. Height: 43 cm. Width: 40 cm. Depth: 26 cm. approximately

Electrical installation functioning, uses E14 bulbs.
They will be shipped dismantled, for packaging safety.

Shipping only to European Union countries, excluding islands.

Seller's Story

I mainly collect Murano chandeliers thanks to the collaboration with some companies that restore apartments and palaces in Venice. In this way, over time, I have recovered the chandeliers of elegant and often ancient houses in the lagoon and in the nearby areas. Murano glass has an incomparable charm: every piece, even the simplest, has a story hidden in its fragility and its iridescent light.
