Antique Black Forest hand-carved wooden wall shelf/bracket, dating to the late 19th century, circa 1880.

Finely carved with a bird beside a nest containing three eggs, surrounded by detailed leaves, flowers and foliage. Deep three-dimensional carving with an attractive aged dark patina.
