Sony DCR-VX2000E 3CCD Professional MiniDV Camcorder – fully tested and working – with accessories
Very nice and fully functional Sony DCR-VX2000E, the European PAL version of Sony's well-known professional/semi-professional VX2000 MiniDV camcorder.
The DCR-VX2000E was introduced around 2000 as a high-quality digital video camera and earned an excellent reputation among professional videographers, documentary makers and enthusiastic amateurs. Today the VX2000 series is again loved by collectors, video enthusiasts and filmmakers who specifically seek the characteristic early digital MiniDV look.
This unit has been tested and functions well. Recording, playback, cassette/MiniDV mechanism, zoom, focus, LCD screen and other controls operate properly. Sony lens attached via that 58 mm thread.
Technical:
The VX2000E features the high-quality 3CCD system, where three separate CCD sensors are used for color registration. This was at the time an important feature of professional video cameras and clearly distinguishes this camera from the simpler consumer models from the same period.
