The Yashica Minister is a handsome 35mm rangefinder camera from the early 1960s, featuring a sharp Yashinon lens and a selenium light meter. With its clean styling and smooth mechanical operation, it is a characterful and affordable classic for film photography enthusiasts and collectors.

The meter reads about 2 stops bright and the lens has slight haze. Please review the photos and consider this before bidding.

Appearance
Scuffs and scratches from normal use. Please check the photos for details.

Optical Condition
Haze: Slight haze on the front element of the Yashinon 4.5cm f/2.8 after internal cleaning — may reduce contrast against strong light. See photos.
Finder: Cleaned internally — clear

Functional
The shutter, film transport and rangefinder work. The selenium meter responds, but reads about +2.2 EV at EV12 and +2.1 EV at EV15 — see Known Issues. No battery is required.
The viewfinder and lens have been cleaned internally.

Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 2.2 OVER / EV15: 2.1 OVER
Some of these deviations exceed what negative film can absorb — please read the Known Issues section and allow for them when shooting.

This camera was serviced by us before listing:
- Viewfinder cleaned internally
- Lens cleaned internally

Known Issues
1. The selenium meter reads about 2 stops bright, so exposures set from its reading will be overexposed. Set the film-speed dial 2 stops higher to compensate, or use an external meter with manual settings.
2. Slight residual haze on the front lens element — minor loss of contrast against the light.

Shipping
We ship via either FedEx or Japan Post (ePacket), whichever suits the destination and the parcel. With Japan Post your package is handed over to the local postal carrier in your country for final delivery.
We only ship to registered addresses.
We ship within 3 business days after payment.

Customs and Taxes
Parcels are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): import VAT and any customs duties are collected by customs or the carrier on delivery, in accordance with the rules of the destination country.
Where import taxes have already been collected at checkout — for example under the EU IOSS scheme for orders up to EUR 150 — there is nothing further to pay on delivery.
Import charges vary from country to country, so please check the rules that apply where you live.
