Worcester teapot, late 18th century
Beautiful English Worcester porcelain teapot from the end of the 18th century, decorated with a refined blue transfer decoration of flowers and foliage on a white ground. The pot has a nicely shaped body with a curved spout and an elegant, ear-shaped handle. The domed lid is crowned by a flower-shaped knop.
An attractive example of the refined blue-and-white porcelain produced by the Worcester Factory in the late 18th century.
The lid is not the teapot’s original lid, but is also Worcester from the 18th century and forms, in terms of style and decoration, a fitting combination with the pot.
Height: 13.8 cm.
Condition: The teapot is in good condition and intact. The lid has a few small flakes. The lid is, as mentioned, not original to the teapot.
