Large hammered cooking pot with lid, approx. 10 liters – Demuynck, Sint-Eloois-Winkel, Belgium – 20th century
Professionally shipped – more than 950 five-star reviews worldwide.
Large cylindrical cooking pot in heavy copper, finished with a hammered surface. The wall is 1.5 to 2 mm thick. On both sides are sturdy riveted brass handles. The interior is fully tinned. The pot is closed with a matching copper lid with a brass handle. A solid piece of traditional copper smithing work.
Diameter 24 cm, height 24 cm; weight approx. 3.9 kg; stamped Demuynck, St. Eloois-Winkel, with well-preserved tinning and in good overall condition with signs of use and aging, the lid with superficial spots.
