Yashica MF-1 black | Point & Shoot Autofocus viewfinder camera

This black-chromed Yashica MF-1 is a point-and-shoot camera in very beautiful to nearly mint condition and works perfectly.

The camera sits in the segment of simple-to-use cameras with a zone system. This means the user no longer has to focus; they only need to choose among four icons on the lens: up to 1 meter, up to 5 meters, up to 15 meters, or up to infinity. Very simple.

The Yashica f2.8/38mm lens is notably sharp, free of scratches and cleaning marks, and has no fungus or haze inside.

The viewfinder is exceptionally clear, as the camera left the factory. When looking through the viewfinder, on the right there is a scale with the aperture values indicating the light meter needle according to the incoming light. The camera operates automatically and the user only needs to press the shutter.

If there is too little light, the built-in light meter will make a red lamp flash (visible in the finder), indicating that the flash should be used. This is done by simply pressing at the top of the flash (where it says “Push”). Then the electronic flash rises up. The flash and the light meter only work after placing 2 AA batteries, of course.

As seen in the photos, the red lamp in the finder lights up when there is too little light, and the orange lamp indicates that the flash is ready to be used.

The offered camera is in a very excellent and very good working condition. All functions such as shutter speeds and aperture operate perfectly. Opening the film back lid is very smooth. The lens is undamaged and free of scratches, fungus, and haze. New film-door seals have been installed (the old ones had perished) to prevent light leaks. The camera has been tested with a roll of film and all results were excellent.

The camera is highly regarded for its very compact body, attractive design, light weight, sharpness, and color rendition.

A matching black lens cap from the brand Novoflex will be included. Also two AA batteries are included.
