Large rosewood veneered (jewelry) box with brass inlay. The interior with a mirror and removable red velour of a later date. Marked on the lock: Alph. Giroux à Paris. Napoleon III period. Includes key.

In good condition. Small damages and restorations overall. In the lid there is a restored crack. The lock is working. See also the photos that are part of the description.

Grote palissander gefineerde (sieraden)kist met messing inleg. Het interieur met spiegel en uitneembaar rood velours van later datum. Gemerkt op het slot: Alph. Giroux à Paris. Napoleon III période. Inclusief sleutel. 

In goede staat. Kleine beschadigingen en restauraties over het geheel. In het deksel zit een gerestaureerde barst. Het slot is werkend. Zie ook de foto’s die deel uitmaken van de omschrijving.

Giroux Paris, France, 49.5 cm wide, 34.2 cm deep, 14 cm high, weighing 4.7 kg, with an interior mirror and later red velour lining, a lock stamped Alph. Giroux à Paris (includes key), in good used condition with minor age-related marks and a restored crack in the lid.
