Description from the seller

*** Magnificent Near Mint PS 2510 Without Reserve Price ***

Very rarely offered, this magnificent audiophile and most vintage Direct Drive PS-2510, released in Japan in 1973 during the Japanese 'Golden Age' of high-fidelity equipment, is an exceptional direct-drive turntable.

The PS-2510 is equipped with an AC servo motor and a 31 cm cast aluminum platter. Rotational accuracy is maintained by a strobe feedback system with neon lamps, and the servo circuit uses a dedicated IC, which enhances reliability.

The tonearm and plinth designs specifically reduce vibration resonances to improve the device’s SNR. Because of these and other innovations, the sound of the PS-2510 is regarded by many listeners as fantastic.

This turntable is in absolutely excellent Near Mint condition, which also applies to the Sony-signed dust cover, cabinet, and technical performance. Motor performance has been measured with the RPM app as of 2026-09-11. The results are as follows:

“Test results for your Sony PS-2510 turntable show that the turntable performs excellently and very stably. At both 45 RPM and 33.33 RPM, the motor runs almost perfectly at the correct speed, with minimal fluctuations (wow and flutter).”

Test results are attached.

The unit is supplied incl. SONY SH150 headshell, Sony-signed rubber mat and single adapter, sub-counterweight and a new cartridge, equivalent to the AUDIO TECHNICA AT-3600L.

This concerns the original Japanese 100V version. A transformer is included free of charge.

Insured and certified shipping. The turntable is fully foam-packaged to prevent damage.
