Complete set of four large busts "The Four Seasons" – Cast and patinated white ceramic – Italy, 1960s-1980s
Set of four large allegorical busts depicting the Four Seasons, characterized by detailed neoclassical naturalistic motifs in the hairstyles.
Made of solid white ceramic with a finish and patina giving an antiqued stone effect, on a circular base (also ceramic) painted with a wood finish.
Pieces with strong decorative and theatrical impact, ideal for classical or eclectic interiors.
Subject: the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter); two male figures (autumn and winter) and two female figures (spring and summer), with flowing hairstyles adorned with floral motifs and fruits.
Material: artistic white ceramic, slip-cast and partially painted.
Dimensions and weight: the statues are about 37–38 cm tall, about 21–22 cm wide at the shoulder; total weight is approximately 5.8 kilograms.
Generally in very good to excellent condition with patina and some light signs of wear and aging.
