Set of 11 wine glasses with height 11.5 cm and a diameter of 7.4 cm, and a bottle with cork height 26.5 cm and diameter 10.5 cm. Made of refined transparent blown glass in a Venetian mouthblown style, each glass offers an enchantingly hand-engraved satin design that recalls the sophisticated styles of the XVIIIth century. The engraved motifs, with interlaced patterns, leaves, scrolls and noble figures, confer a timeless charm that will captivate attention on any occasion. Decorated with acid-work, wheel engravings, or details and finishes themed accordingly. The glasses have a slightly flared shape (inverted cone trunk) resting on a thick, sturdy base with a ring. The decoration is Baroque in style, featuring the engraving of a lady with a knight. Vetreria SIVA, founded and directed in Venice during the 20th century (with a production particularly active and appreciated in the first half of the century, around the 1910s-1930s), Mario Indovino's company specialized in creating artistic glassware and table services of the highest quality. SIVA was famous for its mastery in acid engraving and hand finishes.
