Description from the seller

Magnificent and fully original French three-piece mantel clock garniture (pendulum set) from the early 20th century (Belle Époque, ca. 1900–1910).

The central clock is made from elegantly veined marble and mounted with graceful cast feet.
On top of the clock sits a highly detailed sculpture of high-quality zamak (spelter) with a warm brass-colored patina.
The sculpture bears the title "Amour Champètre" (Country Love) and was created by the renowned French sculptor Anatole Jean Guillot (1865–1911).
It depicts a young woman with flower garlands accompanied by a putto.
The set is completed by two beautiful, identical accompanying decorative vases (cassolettes) on marble pedestals.

The mechanical movement (mouvement de Paris) is by the top maker Fritz Marti (F. Marti) and carries the prestigious stamp "Médaille d'Or - Paris 1900".
