The Shelby Cobra is one of the most extreme and coveted classic sports cars in the world. After minor engine displacement adjustments, Carroll Shelby and racing driver Ken Miles installed a 7.0 liter V8 engine (427 cubic inches) from Ford. The S/C stands for Semi-Competition. The car was originally intended for racing; after rule changes, 53 unsold vehicles were converted into street racing cars.
