Antique German doll 'Kaiser Baby' - Kämmer & Reinhardt (Mold 100) - Circa 1910 - Totally intact.
DESCRIPTION
Spectacular and authentic German character doll 'Kaiserbaby', original mold 100, manufactured by the prestigious firm Kämmer & Reinhardt in 1909. A historic collectible piece in exceptionally high condition and completely free of modern restorations.
★ Porcelain head: In perfect condition. Completely free of hairs (hairlines), flakes, cracks, or breaks. Matte bisque porcelain of superb quality with its original tonal and patina period finish.
★ Nape mark: Original relief-engraved and clearly defined seal with the iconic six-pointed star (Star of David), the initials K and R on the sides, and the mold number. Measures approximately 40 cm.
★ Features and face: Impressive “crying” expressiveness with the coveted intaglio-style eyes (sculpted with inward relief) of origin and a closed natural-looking mouth. Retains the fine newborn hair shading from factory.
★ Composition body: Original five-piece jointed body with curved baby legs. Maintains excellent elasticity and firm posture.
★ Hands intact (Very rare): Both hands are 100% complete, retaining all fingers intact with no breaks or missing parts. They preserve the original reddish paint on the folds and factory nails.
★ Clothing: Includes its long classic baptism gown in white, adorned with lace and light blue ribbons of the period.
