AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

An exceptional Augustine shark tooth from Summerville, South Carolina, USA.

This impressive tooth immediately stands out for its powerful, broad build and exceptionally massive natural root.

The tall, triangular crown features a beautiful light green/grey enamel, in which the natural growth lines are clearly visible. This gives the tooth a distinctive character and an appearance you don’t find in every fossil shark tooth.

The fine serrations along both cutting edges are notably well preserved. In combination with the broad crown and heavy root, this creates a very imposing presence.

The root shows beautiful natural mineralization, with earthy tones and dark mineral inclusions. The rear side also nicely demonstrates how naturally and robustly this tooth has been preserved.
