Vintage vinyl turntable from the 80s, Akai AP 005 functional, very good aesthetic appearance. Only suitable for manual operation; the auto function is not working.

The big sister of the Akai AP-003 model benefits from a beautiful veneered wooden case and a gorgeous brushed-aluminum top. The capacitor motor with an external rotor (PAPST-type) offers unparalleled rotational stability. A high-quality and innovative Japanese production, both in terms of sound reproduction and appearance! This is because Akai turntables of this generation have a very successful design: the reading plate sits close to the table and a minimalism we have only seen in contemporary Danish designs.

To ensure a proper delivery of this product, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, wrapped in bubble wrap with plenty of filling material. We mainly use plastic as filling material, but if you prefer otherwise, please contact us. The package is shipped insured to protect both buyer and seller.
