Ice bucket (2) - Aluminium - Persson-Melin Boda Nova

Vintage ice bucket designed by Swedish designer Signe Persson-Melin for Boda Nova, dating from the 1970s.

Very nice example of Scandinavian design, combining natural cork, aluminum and chrome metal. The inner aluminum container is surrounded by a thick cork insulating wrap. Matching lid with a metal ring and a foldable chrome handle.

The set is accompanied by an old ice tong, coherent with the era and the object's aesthetics, but it is not branded Boda Nova.

Some light signs of use and wear are present. The marking on the underside of the base is partially erased. See the detailed photographs.
