Description from the seller

Iconic glass ashtray, model "Lumax Recuit", designed by Charlotte Perriand.
Made in France between 1960 and 1970 by the Saint-Gobain house.

This is the large-size Lumax model, a rarer version of the design, particularly desirable in this condition.

Executed in pressed and molded translucent glass, "recuit" (thermally tempered for solidity), the piece reflects the architect's commitment to the purity of forms and functional modernism.

The ashtray bears the inscription "Lumax" and "Recuit" on one face, confirming its authenticity.

In original condition, with slight wear due to age and use, some signs of use on the underside.

A design object of great collection value – which can also serve as an ashtray, a catch-all tray, or a decorative accent.
