This is a handcrafted Tibetan *Gau* (amulet box) featuring a metal body shaped like a four-petaled flower. The front is inlaid with imitation turquoise and red glass beads; the center bears a chased Tibetan seed syllable surrounded by a twisted metal wire ring, while the outer edge is decorated with a fine beaded pattern. The back features a relief design of a *vajra* (thunderbolt scepter), and the sides include suspension loops for wearing on a cord. The box opens to reveal an interior compartment suitable for holding sacred scriptures, *amrita* pills (consecrated medicinal pellets), or other holy relics.
Measuring approximately 6 cm in length and 4.5 cm in width, the piece showcases fine hand-chasing and stone-inlay craftsmanship. It exhibits a natural patina and a well-proportioned form. As a traditional Tibetan portable amulet, it remains in excellent condition.
