Tempofoon was based in Tilburg and at the time played an interesting role in the Dutch hi-fi market. The company imported, among other things, Garrard turntables and represented foreign hi-fi brands, including Sansui. The TFA-400 features separate bass and treble controls for left and right, balance, loudness, high- and low-cut filters, tape monitor and various inputs including phono, tape and tuner.
