Description from the seller
12 fish service plates
Beautiful set of twelve porcelain fish service plates from Digoin, France.
Each plate is decorated with a colorful depiction of different fish among aquatic plants, on a soft blue-green background.
The fluted edges are richly worked with a classic gilded floral motif and a fine gold trim.
The plates bear on the back, in a crown motif, the inscription “Porcelaine de France – Digoin.” There is also a distinct number under each plate indicating the décor pattern.
A particularly decorative and warm service, ideal for serving fish dishes. The plates are also beautiful as wall decoration or as a complement to a collection of French porcelain.
