The superb and emblematic vase of the Art Deco period (circa 1940-1950), model “Shanghai,” created by the famous designer Raymond Chevalier for the prestigious Belgian manufactory Boch Frères La Louvière. This vase features a generous and elegant form, flanked by two stylized handles enhanced with fine gold gilding. It bears the polychrome floral décor typical of the collection, consisting of rich pink peonies, small blue flowers, and gilded foliage on a cream-white background. The interior of the neck is heightened by a gorgeous turquoise blue glaze that contrasts, a signature of high-quality pieces from that era.
