1:72 - Model ship - Galeone Francese in stile XVII secolo

Splendid and imposing antique model, I believe of the Soleil Royal, the famous first-rate ship of the line with 104 guns of the French Royal Navy under Louis XIV (launched in 1669). Entirely handmade at least 50 years ago, Hull worked in carvel planking with hand-laid precious wood slats, decks detailed with hatchways, full armament, anchors and rigging with complex rigging. Black fabric sails, some parts missing, others a little torn, ideal for restoration, wooden base with velvet underneath in perfect condition, very delicate.
