For sale is a rare and exceptionally well-preserved antique Vienna Bronze (Cold-Painted Vienna Bronze / Boudoir Bronze) from the renowned Franz Xaver Bergmann foundry.

The famous motif “Nude in Crocodile” captivates with its masterful execution and the fully functional folding mechanism: The back of the crocodile can be opened and reveals the detailed removable female nude figure inside.

• Manufacturer: Franz Xaver Bergmann, Vienna (marked with the original stamp “B” on the vase on the underside)
• Condition: Excellent, pristine collector’s condition – the original figure is fully present (most of the market-sold examples lack this)
