maitre Nimy - Vase - Ceramic

This ceramic vase appears to be a vintage piece from the 1950s, created by the artist Louis Waem as part of the Maîtrise de Nimy in Belgium.
Main features
Material: Red clay ceramic with polychrome glazes and touches of gold.
Decoration: sgraffito friezes (patterns carved into the body) with geometric and stylized floral motifs, complemented by two small side handles in the shape of volutes.
Origin: Made in the Saint-Antoine pottery workshops in Baudour or Nimy, Belgium, probably between 1950 and 1960.
