A wonderful jointed wooden Pinocchio figure, handmade, 24 cm tall. This is a beautiful vintage object, pleasant to use, fully jointed legs, arms, and head, painted in Pinocchio’s colors—the pointed hat Geppetto made from bread crust as recounted by his creator Carlo Lorenzini. Hair and eyes painted.
If you love Pinocchio, come to Collodi. A medieval village documented since the 12th century, it is tied to the name of Carlo Lorenzini, author of Pinocchio. The Florentine writer, whose mother was from the town, spent part of his childhood there and adopted the name Carlo Collodi. It is a town near Florence, and the whole village is representative of this character who is known worldwide.
