Each piece bears on the bottom the historic punch "PA & SS", the factory's official crest (an arm holding a flag) and the historic catalog codes 2685 and 3343, which attest to a coherent union and stylistically perfect lines produced by the same manufacture. One piece bears the "SHEFFIELD" punch partially impressed on the base. The teapot and coffee pot are fitted with their black insulated handles dating from the period.
