Michel de Montaigne / Salvador Dalí - Ensayos - 2005

A unique and unrepeatable work, in a limited edition of 3,000 copies. Numbered, according to notarial act, from I to X, the first ten, and from 1 to 2990, the following ones. The book contains the 21 Montaigne essays selected by Salvador Dalí and illustrated between 1946 and 1948. Accompanying the text, all the illustrations created by the painter are published. A total of 21 black ink drawings and another 16 black ink drawings painted with watercolor. The book has been printed in the four CMYK inks, plus a fifth metallic bronze ink, on Fedrigoni Italian-made cotton paper and it has been bound in silk. Unused, it has been opened to take photos.
