capodimonte - Coffee set (14) - Ceramic, Bronze

Vintage Capodimonte-style coffee service, featuring a carousel-like structure with a large decorative metal handle in brushed iron, bronze, or brass. The handles of the cups are finely shaped to resemble small dragons or winged sea serpents. The cups and the central sugar bowl feature Neoclassical decorations with putti and cherubs immersed in mythological scenes. Details in honey gold highlight the rims of the saucers, the feet of the structure, and the reliefs of the porcelain. Made between 1950 and 1970 by M.A.S. The set consists of 6 coffee cups with their saucers, the sugar shaker, and the ceramic base. Height, including the handle, is about 32 cm. In good condition with normal signs of time and use; note a chip on the sugar shaker, as shown in the photo. See photos for the condition and dimensions of all pieces.
