A prestigious 19th-century column bedside table, designed to combine functionality with classic elegance. The curved door opens to reveal an internal structure divided into two compartments by a fixed wooden shelf. Historically, the lower space of these pieces of furniture (also known as “drum nightstands” or Empire-style nightstands) was used to store the chamber pot, while the upper shelf was for small personal items.
