RARE and splendid "COMTOISE" skeleton clock, zone-striking, Brass/Iron.
Clock dating to around 1820, with normal signs of age.
Original carved hands.
Strikes with a hammer hitting externally— this makes it rarer, considering also the impeccable condition of the piece— on a bell: half past and then all the hours with repetition.
Cleaned and recently overhauled by an expert watchmaker, who brought it back to its former splendor.
To be considered in excellent condition, therefore working.
New cordage in impeccable condition, replaced at the time of restoration.
Authentic, including hand-made brass hands.
Movement with perfect escapement. Excellent strikes.
Keeps very good time.
The clock is supplied without weights, pendulum, and key, as in the photos!
The restoration of this rare Comtoise has required time and money. In this regard, I prefer to carry out a secure and protected shipment!
Measures 25 x 14 cm, 27 cm in height and 41 cm including the bell.
Weighs a total of 4.700 kg, without packaging.
Shipping will be by registered mail with proper packaging.
Costs, including the packaging materials used, are to be borne.
Any additional customs duties are the recipient's responsibility.
