Koji Onaka (尾仲浩二) - In-between 3: Latvia, Spain - 2005

“In-between 3: Latvia, Spain” is a photography book by acclaimed Japanese photographer Koji Onaka (尾仲浩二), published in 2005 as part of the In-between / Europe Today 2004–2005 project organised by the EU-Japan Fest Japan Committee.

For this volume, Onaka photographed Latvia and Spain, capturing everyday landscapes, towns and environments through his distinctive approach to colour and distance.

The In-between project consisted of a series of books in which Japanese photographers documented countries throughout Europe. This is Volume 3 of the series. The official EU-Japan Fest archive identifies this volume as Koji Onaka's contribution covering Latvia and Spain.

This example is especially attractive because it contains a large handwritten signature by Koji Onaka on the opening page.
