Neoclassical Style Column - 20th century

Pair of ancient columns in Carrara marble with bases and capitals in billemi marble. Carrara marble is quarried from the Carrara quarries in southern Italy, a statuary marble where, over the ages, many important sculptures were created; billemi marble, instead, is quarried from the billemi quarries in Palermo, Sicily. This marble is also very durable. Numerous sculptures and architectural monuments were made in the Sicilian capital.
The columns have a height of 130 cm and a width of 16 x 16 cm, weighing about 60 kg each.
Packing will be done with a wooden frame to a high standard.
