Brass oriental vintage jug – Ottoman style with a tuğra
Description: For sale a decorative brass jug in Near Eastern/Ottoman style from the second half of the 20th century. The piece is coated with an original dark patina, giving it a great vintage vibe.
Ornament: On the belly there is an embossed tuğra (tuğra) – the caligraphic signature of the sultan.
Condition: Good, with natural signs of age. The lid hinge is fully functional and stable. On the metal collar just above the hinge there is a superficial, longitudinal crack (shown in the last photo) – it does not affect the stability of the construction.
Intended use: An exceptional ornament and interior decoration with character.
Weight: 1720 grams.
