Krizy - Sculpture, Hello - 27 cm - Blue bluestone (Arduin) - 2018

Krizy (Krist van de Casteele) is a Flemish artist who creates abstract yet highly recognizable figures in blue hard stone. As he says: With hammer and chisel and a grinding wheel I craft my works, which I then smooth-polish.
The object is in excellent condition. A few of his large works stand in castle gardens but also many with private individuals. Several museums in Belgium and France have purchased works by him.
He himself prefers to stay out of the public eye.
The wooden pedestal on which the object rests loosely is hand-signed, as is the object itself.
The attached card is initialed by the artist.
