Charming antique wooden wall cabinet dating from the early 20th century, designed in the Jugendstil / Art Nouveau style.
The door is particularly beautifully decorated with deeply carved, symmetrical floral motifs featuring stylised flowers and elegantly curved leaves, highly characteristic of the Jugendstil period. The cabinet features profiled upper and lower mouldings and stands on four small turned bun feet.
Inside are two wooden shelves. The cabinet is fitted with a lock and key and has two hanging points on the back, allowing it to be used either as a small wall cabinet or as a decorative freestanding cabinet.
In beautiful authentic condition, with normal signs of age and use and an attractive warm, aged patina. It has not been recently restored.
