- Classic, gently curved sauce tureen with a pouring spout
- Decorated, S-shaped handle
- Tripod with ornamental legs
- Rectangular undertray with handles
- Slight signs of use, but complete and correct as a set
- Material & stamps:
On the underside of the sauce tureen it is clearly visible:
EPNS = Electro Plated Nickel Silver. That means: NOT solid silver
A core of nickel silver (copper alloy), with a galvanically applied silver layer
A1 = Highest quality grade for silver-plated tableware, indicates a thick silver layer
Model/serial number (e.g., “315 G”) = Internal factory number
No impact on silver content or intrinsic value
Origin: United Kingdom, usually England or the Sheffield area
Produced by a British silversmith/factory
Dating: circa 1900–1930
Edwardian → early interwar
