Description from the seller

Refined and elegant sculpture in very fine hand-painted porcelain, made by the renowned German manufactory Müller & Co. of Volkstedt-Rudolstadt (Thuringia, Germany), famous worldwide for excellence in artistic porcelain workmanship and lace.
The figure depicts a noblewoman of the Rococo/Eighteenth-century era, delicately posed on a decorated stool. The lady wears a sumptuous pink dress shaded, adorned with clusters of blue flowers and trims in pure gold on sleeves, bodice and skirt. Of particular value are the puffed sleeves and the neckline finished with the intricate Dresden Lace porcelain technique.
-Symbol in blue under glaze: It depicts a stylized crown above the letter "M" (or MV monogram for Müller Volkstedt).
-Red number ("047."): It is the serial/model number of the sculpture or the identifying code of the painter who carried out the hand decoration.

Excellent overall condition for its age. The painting and gilding remain bright. It is advisable to carefully view the detailed photographs to verify the integrity of the delicate lace edges and of the hands.
