Alarm clock - Junghans - Brass, Wood - 1890-1900 - Junghans Rossignol

Two-bell antique desk alarm clock by Junghans (founded in 1861 by Erhard Junghans and Jakob Zeller-Tobler), model called the “Nightingale.” About 1900.
Solid wooden base (beech), patinated brass frame, metal bells.
The bells are resting on the base and the hammer is suspended beneath the mechanism.
Beautiful original patina, dial with Arabic numerals and original hands.

Movement to be serviced and a depression on the upper edge of the dial. (see photographs).
Item to be restored or kept as-is for decorative purposes.
